Below is an assortment of photos submitted by Maryland Wildland Fire Crew members (MDS#3 & MDS#4) from the Rough Draw Fire. The Rough Draw fire, caused by lightning, broke out August 9th 2003 in part of the Gallatin National Forest in Montana. Some of the more spectacular photos submitted by crew members were taken during a blow-up witnessed on August 16th by the Maryland Crew and the Salmon River Hot Shots.
