Below is an assortment of photos submitted by Maryland Wildland Fire Crew members (MDS#3) from the North Fork Fire. The North Fork Fire was human caused and started near Bass Lake California & the Sierra National Forest on Aug 20th 2001. Although the Maryland Wildland Fire Crew spent all of its shifts working nights, they were treated to a spectacular air show every day with great views from camp. The North Fork Fire was contained on Aug 28th, 2001 after burning 4132 acres as well as 2 structures.
