Highway 93 Complex and Tongue Complex 2007 (click on thumbnail to enlarge picture)

Below is an assortment of photos submitted by Maryland Wildland Fire Crew members (MDS#1) from the Highway 93 complex as well as the Tongue Complex. The Highway 93 complex of fires was started by lightning July 6th and included the West Basin and Eccles Fire. They were located 5 miles southeast of Jackpot Nevada and were contained July 16th at 80,629 acres. The Tongue Complex (also started July 6th by lightning) was located a remote 45 miles south of Silver City Idaho. It burned 46,680 acres before being contained in late July.
